The Director of Human Resources guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, strategy, policies, and programs for the entire company.The Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing and driving attraction, selection, engagement and development initiatives.

  1. Develop and lead the Human Resources’ strategy of attraction, selection, engagement and development to align with Bintan Lagoon’s vision.
  2. Develop and publish policies and procedures that effectively manage the company’s exposure to liabilities and claims; ensure the company is in compliance HR related laws, regulations and guidance.
  3. Provide evaluation and recommendation of existing HR strategy.
  4. Maintain partnerships with key recruitment firms.
  5. Responsible for managing (objective setting & performance management) developing (coaching, career progression & training) and rewarding (financial & non-financial rewards).
  6. Develop effective relationships with all departments throughout always with a talent mindset.
  7. Identify high potential employees.
  8. Identify, recommend, implement/coordinate programs to encourage the maximum productivity of employees, both as individuals and as members of a team.
  9. Develop career programs for those important to our continual growth as a company.
  10. Establish appropriate programs and timelines to assist a smooth transition for those who may be entering or exiting their positions.
  11. Support, coach and guide individual employees, department heads and top management on HR issues including by not limited to policy interpretation, salary proposals and performance management.
  12. Act as an ambassador and adhere and enforce all company policies and guidelines.
  13. Direct the update of job descriptions; handle screening and recruiting activities for Bintan Lagoon Resort including promotions, job assignment changes, terminations and transfers.
  14. Recruit, interview, test, and select employees to fill vacant positions needed to help move Bintan Lagoon Resort’s businesses ahead.
  15. Coordinate and analyze salary surveys to compare Bintan Lagoon Resort’s pay rates with those of marketplace and competitors; prepare rate changes as appropriate and review with the direct supervisor.
  16. Oversee the team to deliver HR administrative support and payroll.
  17. Negotiate and liaise with relevant unions or industry bodies on employment agreements.
  18. Equitable treatment of all employees within a business context.
  19. Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, laws, industry trends, practices and developments regarding HR and advise management and staff accordingly.
  20. Ensure organization compliance with all applicable labour laws.
  21. Participate in, and seek leadership roles within organizations and activities that help Bintan Lagoon Resort in the industry and community.


Keahlian dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan

  1. Degree qualified.
  2. At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  3. Demonstrated competence in various HR functional areas.
  4. Thrives in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision and can embrace or generate a dynamic and agile culture.
  5. Understands local HR related practices and regulations.
  6. Strong business acumen with ability to listen to and work with leaders, understand their business challenges and translate them into HR plans and practices.
  7. Skilled at working towards longer-term goals, as well as managing day-to-day operational activity.
  8. Can work independently and autonomously as well as part of a team.
  9. Demonstrates credibility and integrity in communications to ensure information flows upward, downward and across. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be fluent in both verbal and written English.
