Section I: Purpose of the Role

The Waitress will be responsible for providing prompt and courteous F&B service to all guests.

Section II: Primary Responsibilities

  1. Meet, greet and lead guests to their seats.
  2. Ascertain guests’ satisfaction and handle any problem, which may arise, by informing the respective Outlet Manager of the issue problem and how it was resolved.
  3. Be familiar with all menu items, their garnishes, contents, preparation methods and be able to relay information to guests in a polite and concise way, when asked.
  4. Able to recommend specific items to guests.
  5. Report for duty on time and neatly groomed.
  6. Perform opening and closing duties.
  7. Ensure that work stations are set up before the shift commences.
  8. Ensure that tables are set up accordingly.
  9. Take orders of food and beverage and key into order system.
  10. Serve orders of food and beverage.
  11. Clear tables when guests are done.
  12. Able to handle billing procedures.
  13. Undertake any duty that is given by the superior.
  14. Polish silver, refill salt, pepper and sugar, creamers, and etc.
  15. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work areas.
  16. Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, outlets and hotel services/features.

Persyaratan

Keahlian dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan

  1. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a 4 star hotel.
  2. Able to work in a team.
  3. Must be able to speak English.
  4. Well groomed.
  5. Service oriented.
  6. Must have initiative.
